Procurement Project Manager - PPM
Purpose of the Job
- Define and implement the Project Procurement Strategy in full respect of QCD commitments taking into consideration the Project legal and commercial aspects.
- Ensure project needs are properly communicated to Procurement network and to challenge them when relevant
- Coordinate procurement activities of each participating unit to master the global procurement planning in correlation with Project planning.
- Animate Procurement Community for supplier selection through Business Award processes, asks for arbitration when relevant.
- Facilitate co-operation between Engineering and Procurement, define co-development plan and Make or Buy strategy with Project team.
- Ensure the committed costs at tender stage are recognized, used, updated and followed during periodically QCD reviews and finance Project reviews.
- Challenge gaps compared to tender commitments, incorporate Return on Experience and maximize re-use of proven solutions.
- Ensure Procurement processes and EHS rules are applied and followed.
- Ensure QCD performance of suppliers is properly reported, supervises contracts execution and claim process is efficient.
- Lead cost improvement plans: challenge project teams to generate cost optimization ideas, ensure action plan is shared by project
- Monitor the progress of actions decided and raises road blocks or risks.
Desired Knowledge / Experience
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in a similar position
- Very good command of both written and spoken English, fluency in French is a plus
- Very good knowledge of MS Office applications
- Strong interpersonal skills
- No restriction to travel within or out of the country
