Job summary:

The Work Package Controller is responsible for managing and controlling work packages within a project.

This includes monitoring progress, ensuring adherence to budgets and timelines, and coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure successful completion of the work packages.

Responsibilities:

- Monitor and track the progress of work packages, ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget.

- Coordinate with project managers, team members, and external vendors to gather necessary information and updates on work package status.

- Analyse and evaluate work package data to identify any potential risks or issues and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.

- Prepare reports and presentations to provide updates on work package status, including key metrics, milestones, and budgetary information.

- Assist in the development and implementation of work package processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

- Provide guidance and support to project teams regarding work package management best practices.

- Conduct regular reviews of work package documentation to ensure accuracy.

- Participate in project meetings and contribute to discussions on work package Budgets.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or equivalent work experience
  • Proven experience in project or work package Controlling, budgeting, or similar roles.
  • Strong analytical skills for evaluating work package data and identifying trends, issues, or risks
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools, including advanced Excel skills
  • Problem-solving abilities to develop solutions and implement mitigation strategies
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation, data analysis, and reporting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
