Purpose of the Job

  • To manage the Project according to the contract through the delivery of all work packages according to QCD commitments
  • To co-ordinate project management activities with the Project Director and ensure that all requirements of that contract are supported

Part of the Missions

  • Manage Project sub-systems maturity, follow-up KPIs and improve the approval process
  • Delivery performance (OTD, DFQ) in line with targets
  • Gate Review Management
  • Manage interface with client so as to satisfy requirements compliance
  • Achievement of QCD commitments
  • Management of Risks and savings
  • Cash flow management
  • Contribution to the overall project gross margin

Knowledge & Experience

  • Educational : Civil or Mechanical Master Degree.
  • Good Knowledge in Alstom Infrastructure Project Subsystems (POS/OCS)
  • 10 years minimum experience in Railway sector.
  • Project and/or construction experience preferred.
  • Computering skills : Microsoft Office pack, Autocad and MS project (a plus).

Behavioural and Technical Skills

  • Extensive management skills to deal with uncertainty in Projects
  • Leading Team in various Countries at the same time
  • Initiatives, self-motivated for technical matters and speed learning.
  • Autonomy and rigour.
  • Ability to adapt to multi-disciplinary environments.
