ACCOUNTABILITIES & AUTHORITIES

The position aims at supporting the business and the Head of Legal/ Head of Legal and Contract Management in all legal matters, in particular:

Key accountabilities:

  • Prepare, review and negotiate contracts, or other legal documents with an acceptable level of risks
  • Support the business in all legal and contractual matters including claim management, dispute settlement
  • Contractual and legal evaluation of tender documents
  • Support the business on litigation, arbitration or other dispute matters
  • Handling of corporate law matters
  • Promoting the Alstom Code of Ethics and adhering to the highest standards of ethical conduct.

Performance measurements:

Objectives, targets and performance measurements are defined on a yearly basis in line with the company’s financial targets, the General Counsel’s objectives for the Legal, Compliance and Contract Management Function.

Educational Requirements

Mandatory: Law degree

Desirable: LLM/ LLB

Experience

Mandatory:

  • At least 7 years of relevant experience (industrial or construction business environment, project based business).
  • Familiar with public tendering and partnership agreements
  • Corporate legal affairs
  • Fluent in Hebrew and English

Desirable:

  • Experience in Public Private Partnership Projects
  • Exposure to international business environment
  • Previous involvement in financing agreements
