Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your strategic and operational HR expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative, forward-thinking, and inclusive teammates.

You'll play a pivotal role in driving the implementation of Alstom's global HR strategy at a local level, ensuring alignment with business objectives and fostering a culture of excellence. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (e.g., unit operational managers, HR networks, and centers of expertise), coach and counsel senior leaders, and ensure compliance with global and local HR processes, policies, and tools.

You’ll specifically take care of talent management, and employee engagement strategies but also lead recruitment efforts and support organizational change initiatives.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Driving the implementation of Alstom’s HR strategy at country level in alignment with business objectives
  • Providing strategic HR counsel and support to line and senior management
  • Leading the deployment of HR processes such as performance management, salary reviews, and workforce planning
  • Ensuring compliance with local labor laws and statutory regulations
  • Leading recruitment processes and developing strategies to attract and retain top talent in close collaboration with Center of Expertise
  • Supporting organizational change, leadership development, and employee engagement initiatives
  • Analyzing HR data to address trends in attrition, staffing, and employee performance

All about you

We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:

  • University degree in human resources, psychology, business studies, social science, or economics
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar role as an HR generalist in a professional, multinational, or multicultural environment. Experience in an industrial and/or project management company is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of HR management tools, policies, and processes
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to drive change and foster collaboration
  • Strategic business acumen and strong influencing and communication skills
  • Experience in recruitment, workforce planning, and labor cost budgeting
  • Solid understanding of local labor laws and compliance requirements
  • Fluency in English; additional language skills are advantageous

Things you’ll enjoy Join us on a life-long transformative journey – the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career. You’ll also:

  • Enjoy challenges and a long-term career free from boring daily routines
  • Collaborate with transverse teams and helpful colleagues
  • Contribute to innovative projects
  • Progress towards leadership roles or specialized HR expertise
  • Benefit from a fair and dynamic reward package that recognises your performance and potential, plus comprehensive and competitive social coverage
  • Steer your career in whatever direction you choose across functions and countries

You don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us. We guarantee that when you step onto one of our trains with your friends or family, you’ll be proud. If you’re up for the challenge, we’d love to hear from you!
