| Key accountabilities Implementation of the necessary organisation of the work fronts to enable the delivery, erection and construction works achievement in the optimal conditions: performances, duration, quality and health and safety. By delegation of the Project Track Construction Manager, the Track Construction Superintendent will manage all the construction activities on a part of the Project (One line, one sector, etc.). - The Track installation Superintendent reports directly to the Track Construction Manager and is in charge of making sure that the equipment, within his scope, is installed in conformity with the Basic and Detail Designs, the construction procedures, the Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC) system, the Time Schedule in place and the allocated costs.
- His duties include also the necessity to report on all technical aspects with the Engineering Manager and the construction manager about Detail Design and with the procurement teams and the construction manager about Non-Conformities Reports (NCR) from suppliers
- The track construction Superintendent had to have the 4M approval before starting activities.
- During the installation, the Track Construction Superintendent instructs the Track Construction Supervisor to organize the tasks, in a competent and consistent way, so that all key activities are properly controlled.
- The track installation Superintendent will manage and control the Subcontractors performance as per their subcontracting obligations.
- The track installation Superintendent collects and signs the teams reports – Daily / Weekly –
- His duties include also to coordinate with OPC and other third parties on Site
- The Track Construction Superintendent is responsible of the teams and subcontractors works in compliance with Alstom HSE and local rules.
- His duties include the follow up of the service of the machine and maintain the highest level of availability.
- He alerts and reports to the management on any concerns he has related to the job he has to perform, and especially regarding: HSE, Quality, Access, etc.
- The track installation Superintendent is responsible for the onsite Quality Plan & HSE Plan implementation.
Delivery - Weekly progress report
- Weekly Quality controls reports and NCR closing reports
- Weekly Hourly report of his construction team
- Analysis of the equipment or material consumption
- Report of the service of plants, machines & tools.
He/she must be based on-shore, on site, typically in the Project Leading Unit. Performance measurements - Weekly works progress and Weekly activity schedule.
