MAIN RESPONSABILITIES

Key accountabilities

Management of its team to enable the delivery, erection, installation works achievement in the optimal conditions: performances, costs, quality and health and safety.

  • The OCS Construction Foreman/Team Leader reports directly to the OCS Supervisor Manager and is in charge of making sure that the catenary is installed in conformity with the Basic and Detail Designs, the installation procedures, the Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC) system, the Time Schedule in place and the work permit process.
  • The OCS Construction Foreman/Team Leader is in charge of the work permit procedures (Lock-out/Tag-out/Track access/etc.) for its team if applicable.
  • Its duties include also the necessity to report on all technical aspects with its construction manager about Detail Design and Non-Conformities Reports (NCR) on equipment/materials.
  • During the installation, the Construction Foreman/Team Leader is required to organize the tasks, in a competent and consistent way, so that all key activities are properly done and controlled.
  • Its duties include the follow up of the service of the machine and maintain the highest level of availability.
  • The OCS Construction Foreman/Team Leader alerts and reports to the management on any concerns he has related to the job he has to perform, and especially regarding: HSE, Quality, Access, Customer / Consultant requirements, etc.
  • The OCS Construction Foreman/Team Leader is responsible for the onsite Quality Plan & HSE Plan implementation

Delivery

  • Daily report of his construction team.
  • Daily Quality controls reports
  • Daily Report of the equipment or material consumption.
  • Report of the service of plants, machines and tools

The OCS Construction Foreman/Team Leader must be based on-shore, on site, typically in the Project Leading Unit.

Performance measurements

  • HSE compliance
  • Quality compliance regarding the drawing and Work Method Statements
  • Low level of absenteeism
