We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineering Manager to join our dynamic team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge platforms that enable PDC’s expansion into the ICAPS and Advanced Packaging domains.

This role involves leading the development of high-performance, multidisciplinary products in a fast-paced environment. The candidate will possess strong technical expertise, exceptional leadership capabilities, and a passion for innovation.

About the Group

The ICAPS Software Group is responsible for the end-to-end development of ICAPS products, which utilize Scanning Electron Microscopes (SEM) to detect defects and measure nanoscale elements during semiconductor manufacturing.

Our scope includes all software components: database architecture, device control and synchronization, fab interface and automation, and application development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead two software engineering teams, including team leads and developers, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Oversee the development of two distinct products, ensuring alignment and collaboration across teams.
  • Drive all phases of the software development lifecycle: requirements analysis, design, implementation, integration, release, and support.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, product managers, and cross-functional teams.
  • Champion Agile methodologies and foster a culture of innovation.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the teams.
  • Cultivate a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop team members to achieve their full potential.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of direct experience managing software engineering teams.
  • Proven leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills.
  • Strong proficiency in Java or C# development.
  • Expertise in object-oriented design and development.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile frameworks, particularly SCRUM.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline.
  • Commitment to high standards in code quality, testing, and performance.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Strong learning agility and adaptability.
  • Team-oriented mindset with outstanding interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive and results-driven approach.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
