Job Description: Electronics and computing Supplier Engineering Manager.
Enable robust High-Volume Manufacturing in a rapidly growing and dynamic business environment through the following domains:
- Responsible for the NPI Engineering transition to manufacturing at PDC suppliers (design for manufacturing, testability, PFMEA, .FAI,etc.)
- Leading, qualifying and maintaining suppliers’ robust volume manufacturing capabilities and infrastructure
- Support sustain products at manufacturing floor, detect and resolve quality issues at suppliers
- Drive improvements to reduce cycle time, reduce cost and increase efficiency.
- Lead technical projects to increase vendors’ capacity.

Our group
Supplier Engineering group is part of the R&D Division. The group includes highly experienced engineers in several disciplines, such as Mechanics, Optics, Electronics, Motion, Computing and more. Main interfaces are R&D engineers and managers, Supply Chain Purchasing, Operations, Manufacturing, Qual and more. The group is managing all technical aspects of manufacturability at cutting-edge suppliers worldwide and enabling smooth manufacturing processes in our facility in Rehovot.
What you'll be doing?
- Help setting the strategic direction for the supplier engineering organization.
- Ensure the tactical execution of commitments for electronics and computing supplier engineering domain.
- Plan and direct all activities and results of organizational goals and AOP objectives.
- Primary interface and escalation path to multiple Organization functions for supplier’s quality deliverables.
- Collaborates with technical authorities and other operational staffs/leaders to develop and ensure operational excellence goals of quality, scalability, flexibility, and effectiveness.
- Maintains effective relationships with R&D functions, key internal customers, and support organizations.
- Key stakeholder in evaluation, qualification, & selection of suppliers.
- Understands contractual framework and helps sourcing in contracting with suppliers executing to AOP.
- Maintains continuous awareness of ongoing supplier performance in assigned commodity/service areas.
- For electronics high impact suppliers, participate in scorecard development and periodic reviews.
- Leads problem resolution/escalation arising from supplier performance issues for assigned commodities and services.
- Leads and fosters a culture of continuous improvement, employee engagement and open communications.
What you should have?
- Electrical Engineering degree - Must
- Experience: 5+ Years of experience as a technical manager – Must
- Experience in team management – Must
- Experience working with Suppliers through Development/ Engineering transitions – Must
- Experience in multidisciplinary R&D and Engineering processes
- Knowledge in industry standards for electronics modules, semiconductors – Advantage
- Knowledge in HV power-supply manufacturing process – Advantage
- High Technical capabilities, Demonstrating in-depth comprehensive understanding within own discipline and wide knowledge of others.
- Proactive approach, Identifying and Taking ownership for leading tasks or resolving problems within domain.
- Methodologic & Process oriented approach. Driving innovation, effectiveness, and continuous improvement.
- Ability to manage multiple activities facing cross function interfaces, maintain effective relationships and building trust and alignment on workplans according to organizational priorities.

- At least 10 years of experience in electronics boards or power-supplies manufacturing processes.
- At least 5 years experience in teams' management.
