Description
We’re looking for a proactive IT Specialist to support our employees on-site and abroad. You’ll manage and troubleshoot systems across Linux, macOS, and Windows, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations through smart tools and automation.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Linux, macOS, and Windows operating systems across all user levels.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and security policies - Active Directory and OKTA
- Perform system updates, patching, and routine maintenance across all platforms via GPO and Patch management tools
- Utilize scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) to automate recurring tasks and streamline processes
- Manage hardware, setup, repairs, and component replacements
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as an IT Specialist, providing both face-to-face and remote support
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and maintaining Linux , macOS , and Windows operating systems.
- Experience with Windows Server administration, including Active Directory and Group Policy.
- Ability to handle hardware management, including PC setups, installations, and repairs
- Implement and manage virtualization technologies for Windows and Linux OS environments to support infrastructure needs.
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP, with the ability to troubleshoot common connectivity issues
- Customer-focused approach, with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
- Willingness to be available on weekends and holidays as needed (via Slack).
- Familiarity with command-line tools, including Linux shell commands (Bash)/Ubuntu code, macOS Terminal, Windows PowerShell and HTML - An advantage
- Fluent English.
