Position Overview:

The Planning & Control Manager is a high-impact leadership position at the core of our operations org.
You will own the full planning spectrum—demand & supply alignment, forecast building, material availability, and global 3PL network orchestration—directly impacting our ability to deliver, scale, and grow.
Your role is to turn data into decisions: building accurate forecasts, balancing supply constraints, and ensuring seamless execution across production, subcontractors, and fulfillment partners.
You will proactively manage risks, optimize inventory, and drive true end-to-end visibility.
Beyond execution, you will lead a critical shift in our operating model—transforming cost structure from fixed to variable—by optimizing capacity, leveraging global partners, and enabling scalable growth.

Key Responsibilities:
- Forecast Building and development of statistically driven and AI-enhanced forecasting models to increase accuracy and responsiveness.
- 3PL Management - Act as the primary point of contact for Third-Party Logistics providers, monitoring their performance and ensuring seamless order fulfillment.
- Outsource Manufacturing: Manage relationships with contract manufacturers, ensuring they meet production targets, quality standards, and lead-time requirements.
- KPI Tracking: Establish and monitor departmental KPIs, including Forecast Accuracy, Inventory Turns, and Plan Adherence.
- Mentorship: Lead, train, and develop a team of planners, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making
- Inventory management - Coordinate inventory replenishment across multiple fulfilling locations to ensure high service levels and product availability.
- Capacity Planning: Create and share detailed capacity models for the production team, identifying bottlenecks and recommending resource allocations (labor, machinery)
- Supply Assurance: Manage the end-to-end supply of raw materials and components from vendors, ensuring zero production downtime due to shortages.
- Vendor Performance: Collaborate with Procurement to track and improve vendor On-Time Delivery (OTD) and lead-time accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in Supply Chain Planning, with at least 4 years in managerial role.
- Industry Knowledge: Proven experience managing Subcontractors and 3PL providers in a global multi-disciplinary
- Analytical Skills: Proven experience in AI implementations , Demonstrated ability to analyze complex datasets to forecast demand and calculate capacity requirements.
- Education: B.Sc in Industrial Engineering - Must.
- Communication: Exceptional English (written and verbal).
- Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle) and advanced programming skills (Excel expert, data modeling, Python).
- Project Management: Experience implementing S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) processes or ERP planning modules.
- Proven resilience and the ability to maintain a high level of composure and strategic focus during peak operational cycles and demanding periods.
- Lean/Six Sigma: Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles or "Just-In-Time" (JIT) inventory strategies.
