Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled Full Stack Developer with a strong Frontend orientation to join our Platform Engineering team, focusing on building and enhancing our Internal Developer Platform (IDP) using Backstage as a platform. This role is primarily Frontend-focused (approximately 80% Frontend / 20% Backend), with an emphasis on creating intuitive, scalable, and developer-friendly user experiences.

You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining self-service capabilities that improve developer experience and streamline software delivery. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to enhance developer productivity and platform adoption.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain modern Frontend applications using React, with Backend development in Java as part of the platform ecosystem
• Design, build, and deploy web services and microservices
• Create scalable, user-focused, and responsive UI components and workflows
• Utilize Docker for containerization and manage database integrations
• Work in Agile development environments and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with platform engineers, developers, and stakeholders to improve the Internal Developer Platform experience

5+ years of experience in Frontend development, with strong hands-on experience in React (Angular experience is an advantage)

Solid understanding of modern web technologies, responsive design, and Frontend architecture principles

2+ years of experience in Backend development with Java and microservices architecture

Experience working with RESTful APIs and integrating Frontend applications with Backend services

Good understanding of the full software development lifecycle, from design through deployment

Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized environments

Experience working with databases

Strong problem-solving skills and passion for writing clean, scalable, and maintainable code

Bonus Qualification:

Experience in Agile environments

Familiarity with DDS

The position is fully onsite in Rosh HaAyin (no hybrid work model).
