Your Day to Day
AWS Infrastructure: Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure AWS environments, utilize key AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and IAM, and monitor and optimize AWS resources for performance and cost efficiency
Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and automate build, test, and deployment processes for rapid and reliable releases
GitOps Methodologies: Implement, maintain & enhance GitOps infrastructure and workflows ( ArgoCD )
Containerization and Orchestration: Leverage Docker for application containerization and manage and orchestrate containerized applications with Kubernetes
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Implement and manage IaC using tools like Terraform and maintain version-controlled infrastructure for scalability and reproducibility
System Availability: Respond to production incidents to resolve any issue proficiently
Development Experience: Develop and integrate DevOps tools and platforms that accelerate engineering productivity and reduce development time.
Security Practices: Apply security best practices across the infrastructure and application lifecycle, and conduct regular audits and address vulnerabilities proactively
Collaboration: Work closely with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and effectively communicate technical challenges and solutions to stakeholders:
What You Bring to the Table
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role
- Hands-on production support experience
- Proficiency in managing and optimizing AWS infrastructure and services
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, particularly Jenkins
- Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools such as Terraform
- Solid understanding of security best practices and application lifecycle management
- Experience managing and optimizing multiversion infrastructure
- Background working in Agile/Scrum methodologies (e.g., Jira-based workflows)
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and system design skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Excellent communication skills in English (both verbal and written)
Not a Must, But a Plus
- Experience with other CI/CD tools beyond Jenkins
- Familiarity with multi-cloud environments
- Expertise in monitoring tools like Prometheus or Grafana
- Advanced knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby
- Certifications in AWS or Kubernetes
