Job Description
As an AI Engineer at Eitan Medical, you will be part of a team committed to bringing life-changing innovation to patients and clinicians. You will lead the integration of Generative AI into our Insights platform, helping transform complex medical data into actionable insights that support better clinical decisions, personalized treatments, and improved patient outcomes.
In parallel, you will drive AI adoption across internal departments, enabling digital transformation, operational efficiency, and intelligent automation that empower teams company-wide.
This is a highly cross-functional role, collaborating with data engineers, data analysts, product managers, and full-stack developers to build and deploy impactful, scalable, and responsible AI solutions.

As an AI Engineer at Eitan Medical, you will play a vital role in integrating Generative AI technologies into both our SaaS healthcare platforms and internal business operations. Your work will directly contribute to improving clinical decision-making, optimizing treatment pathways, and enabling intelligent automation that enhances patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
You will collaborate closely with data engineers, data analysts, product managers, and full-stack developers, turning cutting-edge AI concepts into production-ready solutions that drive real-world impact.

Key Responsibilities
- Integrate Generative AI (GenAI) capabilities into Eitan’s SaaS platforms to enhance clinical decision support, treatment optimization, and actionable medical insights.
- Identify and lead AI-driven initiatives across departments to streamline processes, boost productivity, and accelerate innovation.
- Design and implement AI-powered systems, including RAG architectures and agentic workflows, using frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar.
- Develop effective prompt strategies and reasoning pipelines for adaptive, context-aware, and explainable AI behavior.
- Monitor and optimize AI system performance, maintaining accuracy, reliability, and safety in healthcare contexts.
- Stay ahead of emerging AI research and tools, evaluating new technologies for their potential to deliver measurable clinical and business impact.
Requirements
Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related STEM field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Strong background in machine learning and data engineering
- Proven experience deploying LLM-based or GenAI-powered applications (via APIs, frameworks, or pre-trained models).
- Proficiency in Python and experience with AI/ML libraries (e.g., LangChain, Hugging Face, PyTorch, TensorFlow).
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS/AKS).
- Team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills, working effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Independent, proactive, and self-motivated, with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to drive initiatives from concept to delivery.
- Passion for continuous learning, staying at the forefront of AI and data innovation, and translating it into tangible impact.
Nice to Have / Advantage
- Experience with Elasticsearch, vector databases, or semantic search.
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis).
- Understanding of data pipelines, ETL, and event-driven architectures (e.g., Airflow, Spark, Kafka).
- Background in healthcare, biomedical, or regulated environments (HIPAA, MDR, FDA).
