We are seeking a Mechanical Product Engineer to lead products and manufacturing processes for advanced defense systems.

The role includes end‑to‑end responsibility for improving production processes, providing engineering support to manufacturing lines, leading NPI activities, solving complex production issues, designing fixtures and tooling, and continuously optimizing workflows and system integration

Responsibilities

Lead, develop, and improve manufacturing processes for defense-related products

Lead NPI activities, including transfer from development to production, and support integration and assembly processes

Full technical ownership of the product throughout its lifecycle, including handling recurring issues and providing field solutions

Design manufacturing fixtures, jigs, and dedicated tooling for production and testing

Provide ongoing engineering support to manufacturing lines in Israel and abroad

Work closely with multiple interfaces: R&D, Quality, Procurement, Suppliers, Subcontractors, and Production teams

Write and update production documentation, work instructions, and engineering drawings

Lead engineering change orders (ECO) to improve efficiency, quality, and throughput

Support, mentor, and train technical and engineering personnel

Requirements

B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering

At least 3 years of experience in industry

Knowledge and hands-on experience with mechanical manufacturing processes, including reading mechanical and assembly drawings

Proficiency in SOLIDWORKS – mandatory

Experience working with suppliers and subcontractors

Ability to work in a global environment and in English

Familiarity with production lines and assembly processes

Experience in designing fixtures and jigs – an advantage

Experience working in a PLM environment – an advantage

Familiarity with electro-optics or multidisciplinary systems – an advantage

Strong teamwork skills, excellent communication, and the ability to lead tasks

Independence, responsibility, creativity, and a proactive approach
