The company is looking for a researcher in the field of anion-exchange membrane electrolyzer. The candidate will be in charge of research projects related to subjects such as electrolysis efficiency, identification of failure mechanisms, hydrogen crossover and device behavior under various operation profiles. He will be part of small team of researchers but will also interact with mechanical and process engineers using the input from the research to produce improved large size devices. By combining hands-on work and research skills in the fields of electrochemistry and materials science, the candidate will run lab-scale and larger size electrolyzer stacks, reports his findings and proposes rational pathways to improve the efficiency and lifetime of the device</div><div style="text-align: left"><br></div><div style="text-align: left">: Role description</div><div style="text-align: left">In-charge of routine lab operation: preparation of materials and components, assembly of electrolyzer of various sizes, testing of the electrolyzers, analysis and report </div><div style="text-align: left">After training period and full understanding of the technology, will lead defined research projects </div><div style="text-align: left">Report progress to the team, interact with other team members and plan next steps</div><div style="text-align: left"> </div><div style="text-align: left"><br></div><div style="text-align: left">: Requirements</div><div style="text-align: left">BsC in Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering or Chemistry</div><div style="text-align: left">Minimum experience of 2 years in one of the following areas</div><div style="text-align: left">Energy, chemical industry</div><div style="text-align: left">Electrochemical devices – significant advantage</div><div style="text-align: left">Water electrolysis – significant advantage</div><div style="text-align: left">Previous experience in one of the following: advantage</div><div style="text-align: left">Membranes or porous separator characterization</div><div style="text-align: left">Gas and liquid transport in porous layers</div><div style="text-align: left">Strong hands-on skills</div><div style="text-align: left">Strong analytical and problem-solving skills</div><div style="text-align: left">Ability to independently plan, execute and analysis experiments</div><div style="text-align: left">Team player</div><div style="text-align: left">Project leader</div><div style="text-align: left">Proficiency in spoken and written English</div><div style="text-align: left"><br></div><div style="text-align: left">#Caesarea</div>
