<div>For the company’s site in Modi’in, we are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a leading team responsible for the development and transfer to production of advanced aeronautical systems (UAVs).</div><div>The role involves bridging development and manufacturing activities, designing and implementing manufacturing solutions, and taking part in impactful technological work within the defense domain.</div><div>You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, working in close collaboration with multiple interfaces across the organization.</div><div>In this role you will</div><div>Participate in product definition and development phases (UAVs) with a strong focus on manufacturability, cost and production processes</div><div>Prepare and manage the engineering plan for transferring product design to prototype and serial production</div><div>Define manufacturing processes, required technologies and production means</div><div>Perform mechanical design of tooling and means required for production, assembly and testing</div><div>Prepare technical specifications and Statements of Work (SOW)</div><div>Lead end to end transfer from development to production for company products</div><div>Manage the process to meet schedule and cost targets</div><div>Oversee and manage subcontractors and manufacturers executing work packages</div><div>Work closely with numerous interfaces in the company to drive execution and continuous improvement</div><div>Requirements</div><div>B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering</div><div>At least 5 years of experience in mechanical design in industry</div><div>Proficiency with CAD tools</div><div>Experience in defining manufacturing processes and production tooling for composite structural parts, including aerospace environments is an advantage</div><div>Experience working in a manufacturing plant or industrial environment is an advantage</div><div>High level of English (reading, writing, speaking)</div><div>Willingness to travel abroad as needed and to work overtime when required</div><div>Strong teamwork and cross functional collaboration, attention to detail, and schedule/cost orientation</div><div>• Only relevant applications will be answered</div><div><br>#Modiin-Maccabim–Reut</div>
