Elbit Systems is looking for a Logistics Planner to join the Aerospace Division site in Haifa
Main Responsibilities
Plan and manage logistics support activities for airborne platforms
Control and monitor inventory across operational sites – procurement and repair facilities
Lead logistics aspects in new program proposals, with emphasis on inventory build‑up (IPL)
Enter and optimize data and requirements in information systems
Develop work plans for managing life‑limited components
Prioritize needs between suppliers, procurement, and operational sites
Lead the logistics agenda according to existing formats for daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly planning
Characterize and improve decision‑support tools for logistics planning (with focus on BI, in cooperation with IT teams)
Define and refine KPI metrics and monitor performance against set targets
Work in a matrix and multidisciplinary structure with diverse interfaces – program managers, finance control, procurement, import/export, site managers, and IT
Collaborate with suppliers and customers in Israel and abroad
Requirements
B.A. — Mandatory
Degree in Engineering — Advantage
At least 5 years of proven experience in logistics planning at large organizations or in the IDF — Mandatory
At least 5 years of experience in logistics planning within the Israeli Air Force — Advantage
Ability to manage and coordinate across multiple interfaces
Capability to lead and motivate teams in a matrix environment with strong interpersonal skills
High teamwork skills
Experience with BI systems and logistical planning tools
High proficiency in Excel and Office applications
