We are seeking an experienced Hardware Engineer - Board Design to join our Laser and Display Electronics development team, located within the Electronics Division
The position involves design and development of advanced multidisciplinary products in the field of laser and display technologies. The work includes full product lifecycle development—from system concept definition through design, integration, and implementation in customer systems—requiring a strong system-level understanding and hands-on board design expertise
Responsibilities
Design and development of electronic boards integrating advanced processors, FPGAs, DDR4/5 memories, and high-speed interfaces such as SerDes
End-to-end design ownership including specification, schematic design, layout supervision, and design-for-test considerations
Execution of design reviews, debugging, and validation activities
Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams including optics, mechanics, software, and system engineering
Contribution to system-level architecture and definition of electronic subsystems
Support for system integration and customer interface activities
Requirements
B.Sc. in Electrical or Electronics Engineering from a recognized academic institution
At least 7 years of hands-on experience in hardware board design and electronic card development
Proven experience with high-speed digital design, including DDR4/5, SerDes, and signal integrity considerations
Excellent system-level understanding and ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment
Full command of English (written and spoken) for document preparation and customer interaction
Experience with environmental and EMC design standards – advantage
Experience in mixed analog/digital circuit design – advantage
Familiarity with FPGA/CPLD development processes (coding, simulation, synthesis, P&R) – advantage
Experience leading small technical teams – advantage
