We are looking for
At our Haifa site, within the Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC/EMI) Group of the Aerospace Division, we are looking for an EMC Engineer specializing in airborne platforms. You will take part in shaping electromagnetic protection architectures and ensuring compliance with international aerospace standards—all in a multidisciplinary and innovative environment.
In this role you will
Analyze technical requirements and prepare responses for tenders and proposals
Define EMI/RFI and lightning protection architecture for airborne platforms
Write test procedures and lead platform‑level testing processes to meet standards such as MIL‑STD‑461, MIL‑STD‑464, DO‑160 and ARP
Perform simulations for co‑existence, co‑location and lightning protection on platforms
Collaborate with multiple engineering disciplines and subcontractors
Lead EMC testing on manned and unmanned aerospace platforms at Elbit and customer sites in Israel and abroad
Lead EMC tests for products according to relevant standards
Represent the company in reviews and technical discussions with customers worldwide
Requirements
B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering
Experience in EMC/EMI engineering
Experience in aerospace engineering activities – Advantage
Hands‑on experience operating test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, generators, oscilloscopes, etc.
Experience with CST simulation software – Advantage
High‑level English – reading and writing
Experience preparing technical documentation and presentations in English
Ability to work independently
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with internal and external stakeholders
Ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple interfaces effectively
