We are looking for
Elbit Systems Haifa site, is looking for a System Engineer in the Helmet Mounted Systems (HMS) Domain – Inertial Technologies
The Helmet Mounted Systems domain in the Aerospace Division focuses on developing advanced system architectures and technologies that integrate inertial components, supporting products such as airborne Helmet Mounted systems (Augmented/Mixed Reality), UAVs, and other complex platforms
Main Responsibilities
Characterization and development of inertial boards
Characterization and development of calibration and testing processes for inertial components
Integration within multidisciplinary system engineering teams working on complex systems combining inertial components
Requirements
B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Engineering or Exact Sciences
At least 5 years of experience in the characterization and implementation of systems or sub-systems
Experience in characterization and implementation of sensing, tracking, or navigation systems and technologies
Experience working with Matlab or Python
Experience in characterization and implementation of inertial components — Advantage
Experience in developing tracking and navigation algorithms — Advantage
High level of English
Willingness to travel abroad
Ability to learn and work independently
System-level thinking and strong technical analysis skills
Excellent interpersonal communication and leadership abilities
