We are looking for
A Senior System Engineer to join our team at the company site in Rosh HaAyin and help turn our vision into reality: building a comprehensive solution for managing autonomous aerial vehicles.
Our work involves cutting-edge technologies and algorithms, addressing unique challenges such as autonomous navigation, mission planning, command & control frameworks, and sensor integration.
You will play a key role in orchestrating these multidisciplinary elements into a unified, high-performance solution — from ideation to field deployment, shaping the future of Elbit's C4I and Cyber autonomous solutions for customers worldwide.
In this role you will
Define product specifications by analyzing use cases, functional and technical requirements, and create detailed documentation to guide development and integration
Drive cross-functional collaboration with Technical Project Managers, R&D, Integration, and QA to ensure smooth development, testing, and deployment at customer sites
Analyze and align sensor and platform specifications with in-house software to create a cohesive, fully functional product
Develop and maintain product roadmaps, participate in strategic planning, and ensure alignment with business goals
Conduct market research to analyze industry trends, competitor products, and customer feedback to inform product strategy
Engage with users at various stages of development to validate features and enhance usability
Communicate product vision and present key functionalities to internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
B.Sc. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
3+ years of experience in systems engineering or a similar role, preferably in the UAV, UGV, or autonomous systems industry
Experience in multidisciplinary systems integrating software with platforms and sensors
Proven ability to create design documents and product requirement documents
Strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies
Proven experience in product management with emphasis on strategic planning, roadmap development, and cross-functional leadership
Experience with command & control solutions - advantage
Background in robotics, aviation, navigation, aerial dynamics, or simulation - advantage
Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
