We are looking for
A Production Engineer for the Aerospace division at our Karmiel site. You will play a key role in advanced manufacturing processes at the forefront of defense technology, taking full ownership from development transfer through serial production. In this role you will
Take full responsibility for production line processes – from development transfer to serial production
Support complex, cutting-edge products across all aspects of design for manufacturability, automation and maintainability
Lead the NPI process: transferring products from development to production and integrating them into technological production lines
Define manufacturing processes, characterize and plan fixtures, and lead cost reduction projects
Write production files and work instructions, perform controlled assemblies to improve and validate product design
Provide real-time engineering solutions, technical support and lead failure investigations for production issues
Work with data to control manufacturing processes and identify failure points
Requirements
B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering
At least 3 years of proven industry experience
Experience in NPI (development to production transfer) - advantage
Familiarity with electronics manufacturing and assembly processes
Proficiency in SolidWorks
High-level technical English
Assertiveness, ability to drive processes and work in a multitasking environment under pressure, high service orientation and excellent interpersonal skills
