For our site in Rosh Ha'Ayin, we are seeking a QA & Automation Team Leader to join a cutting-edge autonomy solutions group. In this role, you will manage a hybrid team of manual testers and automation developers, define and execute QA strategy, and ensure our autonomous systems meet the highest standards of reliability, safety, and performance. If you are passionate about bridging the gap between hardware and software validation, championing test automation, and driving a culture of quality and continuous improvement — come be part of a team that is shaping the future of autonomous technology.
In this role you will
Lead, mentor, and grow a team of manual QA engineers and automation developers — setting priorities, conducting reviews, and fostering professional development
Define and execute the overall QA strategy and roadmap for autonomy products, from early development through production releases
Design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks and CI/CD-integrated test pipelines for autonomous systems
Plan and oversee hardware integration testing — validating the interplay between software, sensors, actuators, and other physical components in real-world and simulated environments
Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, traceability matrices, and quality reports (STP/STD/STR)
Collaborate closely with R&D, systems engineering, DevOps, and product teams to ensure alignment on requirements, timelines, and release readiness
Assess risk and make informed go/no-go recommendations for releases in safety-critical, mission-critical contexts
Requirements
B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field - advantage
5+ years of hands-on QA experience, including both manual and automated testing
2+ years of proven experience leading QA/testing teams (manual testers and automation developers)
Strong Linux proficiency — comfortable working in Linux-based development and testing environments (command line, scripting, system-level debugging)
Hands-on automation experience — building and maintaining test automation frameworks and scripts (e.g., Python, Robot Framework, Selenium, pytest, or equivalent)
Experience with hardware integration testing — validating software against physical hardware, sensors, embedded systems, or robotic platforms
Experience with containerized environments — Docker, Kubernetes, or similar container orchestration technologies
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated testing into continuous delivery workflows (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) - advantage
Familiarity with the autonomy domain — autonomous vehicles, robotics, drones, or autonomous navigation - advantage
Excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to work in complex, multi-disciplinary, and fast-paced Agile/Scrum environments
*Only relevant applications will be answered
