We are looking for
An Operational Procurement Manager for our site in Haifa
Join a critical role at the heart of the supply chain in one of Israel's leading defense companies. You will lead end-to-end procurement processes, manage strategic supplier relationships, and make a direct impact on project success — in a dynamic, fast-paced environment full of purpose and meaning
In this role you will
Manage the full procurement cycle: issuing RFQs to suppliers, generating purchase orders, and closely tracking from issuance through warehouse receipt to supplier payment
Manage suppliers and subcontractors: conducting weekly status calls to monitor and control delivery schedules, meeting savings and OTD targets
Provide creative solutions and rapid responses to internal customers and suppliers
Oversee ongoing reporting and control of the supply plan, including data analysis and presenting status updates and progress to management
Work intensively with cross-organizational interfaces (business unit, planning, finance, warehouse) while delivering fast and creative solutions in a dynamic environment
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or practical engineering diploma in Industrial Engineering & Management, Logistics, or Economics
Proven experience in managing suppliers and subcontractors in Israel and abroad
Full proficiency in Excel with the ability to analyze complex data
Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably procurement and logistics modules - advantage
High-level English (reading, writing, and leading discussions with international suppliers)
Deep understanding of logistics processes and supply chain management
Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks in a multi-interface environment, with excellent interpersonal skills and a team player mindset
