For a groundbreaking, unique, and innovative technological project, we are seeking an experienced Physicist / R&D Engineer to join a research and development team specializing in the development of physical devices, high‑voltage systems, and advanced fast‑switching components, with an emphasis on HPM (High‑Power Microwave) and pulsed‑power applications
Responsibilities
Research and development of physical devices and advanced experimental systems
Design, setup, and execution of complex experiments, including high‑voltage and high‑current test configurations
Development of fast‑switching components for high‑voltage and high‑current systems
Development of semiconductor switching devices for high‑voltage and high‑current applications
Performing analyses, processing, and interpretation of experimental data
Conducting physical calculations using simulation and control tools
Independent, end‑to‑end work: studying professional literature, developing implementation processes, characterization, experimentation, and data analysis
Development of unique devices for high‑power microwave (HPM) / pulsed‑power systems
Preparing technical reports and presenting professional deliverables
Collaboration with academic partners and multidisciplinary teams
Requirements
MSc in Physics or Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a related physical research field (with a BSc in Physics) – mandatory
Proven experience of at least 5 years in developing physical devices, high‑voltage systems, or fast‑switching components – mandatory
Significant Advantages
PhD degree
Experience working with vacuum, high‑voltage, plasma, or pulsed‑power systems
Willingness and ability to work outside the company site when required
The position is based at the Holon site and requires occasional business travel between the Holon and
Yokneam locations
