<div style="text-align: left; direction: ltr">Elbit Systems in Rehovot is looking for a Laser Physicist to join a multidisciplinary team developing high-power laser systems based on optical fibers.</div><div style="text-align: left; direction: ltr"> This is an opportunity to take part in advanced and meaningful technological work, from research and development stages through production and system integration, in an innovative environment at the forefront of defense technology.</div><div style="text-align: left; direction: ltr"><br></div><div style="text-align: left; direction: ltr"><br></div><div style="text-align: left; direction: ltr"><br></div><div style="text-align: left; direction: ltr">In this role you will:</div><div style="text-align: left; direction: ltr">Lead the development of high-power laser systems based on optical fibers from concept phase through production and integration</div><div style="text-align: left; direction: ltr">Design, develop and research fiber laser technologies and integrate them into multidisciplinary systems</div><div style="text-align: left; direction: ltr">Design and build optical systems for physical experiments</div><div style="text-align: left; direction: ltr">Perform physical simulations and analytical modeling</div><div style="text-align: left; direction: ltr">Support serial production of fiber laser assemblies</div><div style="text-align: left; direction: ltr">Work closely with multidisciplinary engineering and technology teams in an advanced R&D environment</div><div style="text-align: left; direction: ltr"><br></div><div style="text-align: left; direction: ltr"><br></div><div style="text-align: left; direction: ltr">Requirements:</div><div style="text-align: left; direction: ltr">M.Sc. degree in Physics / Electro-Optics / Electrical Engineering</div><div style="text-align: left; direction: ltr">Ph.D. in a relevant field - Advantage</div><div style="text-align: left; direction: ltr">Experience in electro-optics and relevant laboratory work</div><div style="text-align: left; direction: ltr">Background in lasers and optical systems development - Advantage</div><div style="text-align: left; direction: ltr">Programming skills in Python and MATLAB</div><div style="text-align: left; direction: ltr">Excellent interpersonal skills, teamwork abilities, initiative, research leadership and independent working capabilities</div><div style="text-align: left; direction: ltr"><br></div><div style="text-align: left; direction: ltr">*Only relevant applications will be answered</div><div style="text-align: left; direction: ltr">#Rehovot</div><div style="text-align: left; direction: ltr"><br></div>
