A leading company is looking for an experienced Application Infrastructure Engineer to join its growing team.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise OpenShift/Kubernetes platforms and application infrastructure. You'll work on building and supporting OpenShift-based environments, researching and evaluating new platforms, operators, and open-source technologies, and driving infrastructure innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Install, upgrade, and maintain enterprise OpenShift environments.
  • Deploy, implement, and support platforms such as Kafka, Redis, Vault, and other complex infrastructure solutions.
  • Monitor and manage production environments, including implementing monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
  • Develop automation scripts and tools using Python and Bash.
  • Manage and maintain the OpenShift ecosystem, including JFrog Artifactory, ArgoCD, Git, ACM, and ACS.
  • Configure monitoring and observability for enterprise applications.
  • Participate in architecture design discussions and recommend new technologies and best practices.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with OpenShift/Kubernetes in production environments, including platform installation, upgrades, and Operator deployment.
  • Experience working with Linux-based operating systems.
  • Knowledge of SSL, Certificates, and secure communication concepts.
  • Experience with enterprise networking technologies, including Load Balancers.
  • Experience working with Git (Bitbucket is an advantage).
  • Experience with JFrog Artifactory.
  • Hands-on experience with automation and scripting using Python and/or Bash.
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of English (reading, writing, and speaking).

Nice to Have

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
  • Experience with application servers such as IBM WebSphere (WAS) or Oracle WebLogic.
  • Experience with Ansible and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Passion for learning, researching, and adopting new technologies.
