About the Role:
Intel Silicon Architecture, Power and Performance (SiA PTP) team are seeking for a highly skilled SoC Performance Engineer to join our team specifically focused on gaming validation and optimization for client desktop products. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology, and you will be responsible for optimizing and validating the Gaming performance of our High-end Desktop System-on-Chip (SoC) designs focusing on dGFX Gaming performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Pre- and Post-Silicon Validation: Characterizing SoC power and performance across various usage scenarios including gaming workloads
Optimization: Identifying opportunities for power and performance improvements through workload analysis and silicon behavior
Gaming Focus: Validating gaming experiences across multiple graphics configurations and ensuring realistic workload testing that reflects user scenarios
Collaboration: Working closely with architecture, design, firmware, and platform teams to align on validation strategies and tuning goals
Debugging: Drive issue debugging and resolution for Gaming performance
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
Experience: 5+ years of experience in SoC power and performance engineering and/or gaming related positions
Skills:
Hands-on experience with silicon validation platforms and power/performance measurement tools
Strong understanding of power management techniques and SoC architecture
Familiarity with CPU architecture and SoC-level optimization techniques
Excellent problem-solving, debugging and self driver skills
Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical/Electronic Engineering or a closely related field.
Advantage Qualifications:
Familiarity with PC gaming or a strong passion in the field.
Experience with OS-level power management
