Join Intel's CPU Power & Performance Projection Team
Shape the Future of Processor Technology
Join our CPU Power & Performance Projection group, where our team plays a crucial role in defining next-generation processor specifications across entire System-on-Chip (SoC) architectures. Our team determines critical power delivery parameters including current consumption profiles, power management feature implementation, and maximum achievable frequencies in turbo mode. In Addition , the team uses Benchmark modeling for performance projections and sophisticated thermal modeling s/w to generate Power & Thermal maps.
What You'll Do:
• Gain end-to-end exposure to Intel's processor development lifecycle—from initial architecture definitions through design implementation to final product validation
• Participate in cross-functional working groups that shape Intel's system design strategies
• Generate critical data that influences how Intel's customers design their platforms across laptops, desktops, gaming systems, and tablets
• Master sophisticated software tools for power projection modeling and drive improvements to modeling algorithms
• Conduct in-depth studies requiring deep CPU design and architecture expertise
• Recommend design optimizations and product enhancements based on analytical findings
Key Responsibilities:
• Understand and work with physical and statistical models for power projections
• Drive product improvements across multiple performance areas
• Validate real-world results against theoretical estimations
• Contribute to platform-level design decisions that impact the entire industry
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
• Currently enrolled in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering program
• Available to work 2 days per week at our Haifa campus
• VLSI and semiconductor background preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Interest in processor architecture and power management systems
