You'll be part of a leading System Engineering and Architecture group within Wireless Connectivity Solutions. The group defines products starting from their early development stages throughout the development cycle, including product launch. Intel’s wireless communication products are leading the market with the latest standards, state-of-the-art performance features, and mechanisms.
As the WiFi System Integration Team Lead, you will lead the system integration team that is responsible for delivering best in class wireless performance, defining and driving system POCs, driving first time integration of new features and new HW, and driving complex debug activities.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams such as Product, System, PHY, VLSI, RF, Firmware, Driver and Validation to ensure our products meet the highest performance and quality standards and deliver a superior wireless use experience.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of integration engineers providing guidance, support, and fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. Define and manage team goals, performance expectations, and development plans.
2. Integration Capabilities: lead and enhance the group’s capabilities. Enable executing more complex integrations, testing and improving efficiency, including use of automation and AI based capabilities.
3. Drive group targets: Drive and define group tasks, look for new opportunities and expand group portfolio into new areas.
Qualifications:
- BSc/MSc in Electrical Engineering / Computer Science
- Over 8 years of experience in engineering. Over 3 years as a team leader.
- Experience with system integration.
- Specific experience with integration of multi-disciplinary communication systems - advantage.
- Experience with automation/C/C#/Python advantage.
- Experience with Wi-Fi systems and standards - advantage.
- Independent and self-motivated, capable of executing under uncertainty, in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent interpersonal relations and teamwork skills.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Able and willing to do hands on work if required.
- Excellent verbal and written skills in English
