We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chip Design Leader to join us and lead a digital design team and play a major role in developing our cutting-edge products for the AI industry.
This position is ideal for someone with a strong technical expertise, a passion for design methodologies, who is also a natural leader.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of design engineers of various qualities and experience characteristics, manage schedule, priorities, and resource allocation.
- Oversee the development and implementation of design features and units and support full-chip level engineers.
- Hands-on work and support to team members in RTL coding.
- Collaborate closely with verification, architecture, and backend engineers to deeply understand specifications, proactively identifying and addressing potential flaws during the development.
- Drive design reviews, ensure high-quality deliverables, and enforce coding and design guidelines.
- Analyze PPA results, derive insights, and effectively communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders, contributing to strategic decision-making and project direction.
Qualifications:
- B.Sc. in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
- 7+ years of proven experience in VLSI chip design engineering, with a focus on high-end SoCs and AI applications.
- Track record of leading design activities and successfully delivering chips/projects that meet the spec, PPA and timelines.
- Strong hands-on RTL design skills.
- Solid frontend to backend interface expertise, including:
- Timing closure and path optimization.
- Logic restructuring.
- Area and power reduction techniques.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong motivating and mentorship skills to guide and inspire team members towards achieving exceptional performance.
