Job Overview
This position is for students currently enrolled in a degree program. To qualify, applicants must be returning to their academic institution following the internship, with a graduation date no less than four months after the internship concludes. Join our CTREC (Cybersecurity, Trust & Safety, Risk, Enterprise Systems and Compliance) team as a Software Engineering Intern. You'll gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, agile environment, contributing to the design and development of innovative back-end service systems, prototypes, and proofs of concept. This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring software engineers to learn, grow, and apply their skills while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
* Assist in the design, development, and testing of software applications and systems.
* Participate in debugging and resolving software defects.
* Collaborate with team members to understand project requirements and deliver solutions.
* Support the deployment and maintenance of software
Qualifications
* Solid understanding of object-oriented design and fundamental programming concepts.
* Ability to code proficiently in Java
* A "self-starter" attitude and a strong desire to learn and take initiative
* Strong problem-solving skills
* Exposure to Artificial Intelligence (AI) programs, tools and concepts
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Hebrew and English.
* Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
Nice to Haves:
* Familiarity with the Spring Framework
* Knowledge of AWS or other cloud computing services
* Experience with Docker, Kubernetes
* Experience with REST API
* Familiarity with Git and Github
* Familiarity with Graph Algorithms
* Experience with Multi-threaded programming
