We are looking for a Medical Expert in Greece:

The role of a Medical Expert is to provide 360o expertise on all Medical Affairs Dept processes, initiatives and programs of the assigned Therapeutic Area (TA). This role assumes all responsibilities of Medical Advisor, Field Medical Advisor and Medical Education Expert. Working closely with the Country Value Team (CVT), the role strives to enhance Company TA value by being a scientific expert, by crafting and implementing a Medical Education Plan specifically tailored to their assigned TA, by supporting scientifically the Regulatory and Market Access Departments ensuring flawless and compliant access to J&J’s therapies and by delivering scientific trainings to all internal partners in scope (Marketing, Sales, etc.). Moreover, the Medical Expert collaborates closely with TA Leading Specialists (Physicians, Pharmacists, Board Members of Scientific Societies, and other customers) as to be considered a trusted scientific counterpart and partner.

Main duties:

  • Keeps updated on products, treatment trends, and clinical studies within the therapeutic area.
  • Shares medical data with healthcare specialists, gathers scientific insights, and provides strategic feedback for medical affairs and business decisions.
  • Supports clinical activities, including collaboration with GCO, CRO, and HEMAR team on HTA submissions.
  • Conducts medical reviews of regulatory documents, promotional materials, and provides training to commercial teams.
  • Develops and implements Medical Education Plans addressing healthcare professional and patient needs.
  • Plays a crucial role in the budgeting process for medical education programs.
  • Maintains relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and medical associations to cultivate partnerships and promote company products.
  • Coordinates Advisory Boards/Medical Education Steering Committees, refining medical strategies based on scientific insights.
  • Ensures compliance with J&J procedures and Compliance standards.

Education & Experience (required):

  • Advanced university degree or equivalent experience in life sciences or similar fields while a master’s degree is considered an asset.
  • 2-5 years of work experience in comparable roles
  • Proficient in Greek and English both in written and oral
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Valid driver’s license is needed
