We are searching for the best talent for a System Engineer role, to join our team located in Yokneam, Israel.
Purpose: We are at Johnson & Johnson MedTech are looking for a talented System Engineer to join our Cost improvement technical operation department (CIP).
The cost improvement technical platform is responsible for leading & executing all technological cost improvement projects in Johnson & Johnson MedTech HTC site .
The team is specialized in identifying and executing Cost improvements opportunities across all of HTC’s platforms while maintaining a 3-year rolling plan of cost improvement projects pool.
You will be responsible for:
Technical responsibility over system or sub-system development, with a goal of providing optimal solutions leading to a quality product that meets the customers' needs and their translation into technological attributes of the product.
Responsible for system requirements, specifications, and functional definitions, system architecture, interfaces, top-level design, design, and performance.
Responsible for system/sub-system integration, verification, and validation.
Responsible for coordination between the development disciplines (HW, SW, Algorithms, Mechanics) in their design and verifies the fit of the design to system requirements
Characterizing and analyzing system requirements and providing systemic solutions for their implementation
Responsibility for secondary specifications and system requirements according to product requirements.
Leading technical discussions in multidisciplinary teams to find efficient solutions required in the life of the project
Responsible for integrating the system components throughout the product life cycle, including implementation at the customer, risk management, error budget analysis, and troubleshooting.
Technical responsibility for system and engineering design and its execution; Responsibility for the systemic validation and verification program and performing proof of design (POD) tests.
Develop the Hardware solutions & designs by supporting the release of POD integrated with HTC systems.
Solving technical issues for improving production processes in-house, at BW worldwide, and for subcontractors.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering - Electronics/Bio-Medical /Software/Computer Science/Mechanical
Master's degree in Systems Engineering - an advantage
At least 3 years of experience in engineering in an R&D and mass production environment and electromechanical industry (Medical or healthcare company – an advantage)
At least 3 years of experience as a Systems Engineer for a multidisciplinary product
Extensive experience in working with multiple functions as part of product development: SW, HW, Marketing, Clinical, QA, RA and Customers
Experience in defining and proving product requirements and specifications.
Solid knowledge and experience in signal processing systems and applications
Good knowledge in reading electrical board design and mechanical drawings
Experience working with subcontractors in electro-mechanical industry. (Medical device is preferred)
Strong knowledge of production processes and procedures
Experience working with R&D team for new potential design changes derived from NPI products
