Role Overview

The Senior Program Manager - PMO (Supply Chain) plays a critical role in driving execution excellence across complex supply‑chain programs and site‑level strategic initiatives. This role leads end‑to‑end program delivery while establishing strong governance, standardization, and cross‑functional alignment within a structured PMO framework.

The position owns portfolio planning, performance reporting, risk management, and financial oversight, partnering closely with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance, Quality, Regulatory, R&D, and global stakeholders to deliver measurable business impact, operational resilience, and regulatory readiness.

Key Responsibilities

Governance, Planning & Execution

  • Establish and maintain PMO governance, standards, templates, KPIs, and stage‑gate processes for Supply Chain initiatives.
  • Drive disciplined execution of managerial routines throughout the year and support preparation for quarterly and executive reviews.
  • Lead integrated planning across scope, timelines, resources, budget, and milestones for multiple concurrent programs.

Portfolio & Program Leadership

  • Own portfolio‑level visibility, consistency, and follow‑up across:
    • New Product Introduction (NPI) launches
    • Continuous Improvement Programs (CIPs)
    • Strategic site and enterprise initiatives
  • Serve as the end‑to‑end program owner, ensuring alignment to priorities, clear accountability, and delivery against commitments.
  • Manage RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) and ensure proactive mitigation and escalation.

Risk Management & Business Continuity

  • Lead site‑level risk management processes, including contingency planning and Business Continuity Planning (BCP).
  • Anticipate operational, execution, and compliance risks, driving mitigation plans in collaboration with key stakeholders.

Reporting, Performance & Financial Partnership

  • Consolidate and analyze KPIs, providing clear, actionable insights through executive‑level dashboards and governance materials.
  • Ensure compliance with global reporting requirements and tools (e.g., BP templates, Clio, PLW).
  • Partner with Finance on capital planning, expense management, forecasting, and overall financial health of programs.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

  • Work closely with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, R&D, Operations, and global partners to drive alignment and execution.
  • Act as a Manufacturing Excellence subject‑matter expert, supporting continuous improvement and operational best practices.
  • Lead change‑management activities to enable adoption of new processes, tools, and ways of working.
  • Utilize program management and reporting tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Clarity, Jira, or similar platforms.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science required
  • MBA preferred

Experience & Skills

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in project or program management within operations, supply chain, manufacturing, or regulated environments.
  • Proven ability to manage complex, cross‑functional program portfolios.
  • Experience operating within PMO or governance‑driven frameworks.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands‑on execution.
  • PMP, PgMP, or MSP certification preferred; Agile, Scrum, or Lean Six Sigma a plus.
  • Experience in MedTech or medical device industry strongly preferred.

Additional Information

  • Completion of required company training programs is mandatory.
