We are searching for the best talent for a Technical communication (TC) Team Leader role, to join our team located in Yokneam, Israel.
This position will be:
- Leading TC activities: projects and documents
- Guiding, supporting, and training of the TC team members
- Documenting products, research projects, and service activities
- Interviewing SMEs
- Authoring and editing in pure DITA XML and creating PDFs
- Managing document release through the company’s PLM
- Supporting company’s content-related labeling activities
- Supporting departments and managers in other technical communication tasks including writing and editing procedures, presentations, posters, and documents
- Managing and guiding TC team members in preparing documentation project plans
- Responsible for communicating business-related issues or opportunities to next management level
- Performs other duties assigned as needed
Requirements:
- Technical Writing experience – minimum 10 years
- Relevant academic degree
- Medical device experience
- Experience in writing structured documentation.
- Basic graphic editing (Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar tools.) for diagrams, illustrations, and labels
- Technical English, document organization
- Project management (advantage)
- Required Skills or Abilities
- Quick general and technical learning abilities
- Reliable and accurate
- Self-motivated
- Good communication and interview skills
- Ability to easily adapt to rapidly changing requirements
- Ability to successfully work on multiple projects, simultaneously
- Ability to review and edit document drafts and provide constructive feedback
