Mechanical Design Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Mechanical Engineering team to take part in the development of innovative, mission-critical product

In this role, you will be responsible for the design and development of complex mechanical assemblies and dense electronic packaging solutions, working closely with multidisciplinary teams throughout the product lifecycle—from concept through manufacturing.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• years of industry experience in mechanical design of assemblies and dense electronic packaging 5-7
• Proven experience working with Creo Parametric CAD.
• Hands-on experience designing metal parts using:
  • Die Casting
  • Extrusion
  • CNC Machining
  • Sheet Metal
• Experience in design for:
  • Plastic Injection Molding
  • Silicone Compression Molding
  • LSR (Liquid Silicone Rubber)
• Strong understanding of DFM, Tolerance Analysis, and FAI processes.
• Experience defining and supporting Electronic Circuit Board layout processes.
• Experience in thermal design and thermal management solutions.
• Experience designing products to MIL-STD environmental requirements, including:
  • Drop/Shock
  • Sealing
  • Vibration
  • High and Low Operating Temperatures
• Fluent verbal and written English.
• Self-motivated, energetic, highly committed, and a strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience performing Thermal Simulations.
• Experience conducting Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
• Previous experience in multidisciplinary product development environments.
• Experience with ruggedized electronic products.
