Key Responsibilities:

• Leading and conducting theoretical and practical research
• Develop, test and analyse new technologies, materials, methods and devices
• Utilize computational tools for data analysis and simulations
• Design and improve of the implants and MEMS based sensors
• Ongoing collaboration with the team engineers, scientists, and technicians to integrate physics-based solutions into products or processes
• Prepare scientific and technical reports, publications, and patent applications
• Ensure compliance with medical industry regulations and safety standards

Requirements:

Education & Experience

• PhD or MSc. in Applied Physics/ Physics or related fields
• Additional technological degrees- Advantage
• 7+ years of research and industrial proven experience in applied physics

Skills & Qualifications:

• Highly experienced with semiconductor physics and manufacturing processes
• Strong analytical abilities, problem-solving approach
• Proficiency in computational modelling (e.g., Python, MATLAB, C++)
• Experienced in ultrasound physics and ultrasound transducers: theory, design and applications- Advantage
• Highly experienced with lab instrumentation, experimental techniques.
• Data analysis and statistics high hands-on capabilities
• Ability to work independently and to be part of an interdisciplinary team
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Industry experience in medical devices development– Advantage
