Mobileye's HLB (High Low Beam) Algorithmic group uses Deep learning and classic algorithmic approaches to control the lights of the car and automatically adjust it to the road conditions, allowing maximal lighting while not disturbing other road users.This is a key component in saving pedestrian lives in night drives.
The HLB algorithmic group is looking for a validation team Lead to help the team perfect its solution.
As part of this role, you will be working closely with the algorithms development team, with product, and the data team to improve system validation and help the group deliver world class Product.
This role is best suited for a hands-on technical professional who enjoys improving workflows, building tools, and automating analysis processes. Strong management and leadership is an important component of success in this role, as well as innovative spirit and strong technological abilities.
What will your job look like:
- Lead a small, focused HLB algorithm validation team, driving innovation, automation, and the adoption of state-of-the-art and AI-based technologies.
- Build deep system understanding of the HLB product to enable thorough analysis, root-cause investigation, and continuous improvement.
- Define and evolve validation strategies, methodologies, test suites, and KPIs to ensure robust algorithm evaluation.
- Drive automation of workflows and data analysis, including development and integration of tools, scripts, and GenAI-based solutions.
- Collaborate closely with Algorithm, Product, and Data teams to enhance system understanding and validation approaches.
- Promote structured investigation, analytical thinking, and efficient ways of working within the team.
All you need is:
- 4–7 years of experience in data analysis, software development, or algorithm-related roles, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- B.Sc. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Ability to investigate complex systems and analyze “black box” behavior to identify root causes.
- Experience improving workflows through automation, scripting, or tooling.
- Experience with machine learning / AI / computer vision systems - an advantage.
- Experience defining validation processes, test methodologies, or performance evaluation - an advantage.
- Experience leading or mentoring a small team, or strong potential to grow into a leadership role - an advantage.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset.
