Job Description

High levels of employee engagement drive talent retention, enhance organizational performance, and strengthen our service reputation and stakeholder value. The Employee Engagement Specialist will play a key role in supporting initiatives that foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture across GBS.

As part of the TS Operational Excellence Support Team, this role will assist in the administration of GBS Learning & Development Talent Development Programs, ensuring smooth operations and efficient program execution. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive in engagement activities, and passionate about enhancing the employee experience.

Primary responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist in the administration of GBS Talent Development Programs, including demand planning, session coordination, registration management, scheduling, follow-ups, and reporting.

  • Support the planning and execution of employee engagement events across TS organization.

  • Coordinate employee engagement initiatives with GBS Leadership, BSC Site Leads, and HR Business Partners.

  • Assist Talent Engagement Leads and the GBS Leadership Team in organizing listening circles and tracking Pulse Survey action items.

  • Collaborate with EBRGs, BSC Site Leads, and other engagement channels to promote an inclusive workplace culture.

  • Support internal communication efforts by drafting, editing, and distributing employee engagement materials.

  • Maintain and update L&D dashboards with key employee engagement metrics—analyzing data and suggesting actions.

  • Assist in organizing TS Town Halls, including logistics such as venue reservations, payments, catering, and presentation setup.

  • Assist in managing the Employee Skillset database, generating periodic reports for GBS TS LT.

  • Support GBS standardized onboarding platforms and processes.

  • Collaborate with Employee Engagement colleagues across other GBS AoPs to drive engagement and workplace inclusivity.

  • Perform other tasks in support of TS Opex Support initiatives, as needed.

Education & Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Social Sciences.

  • 2+ years of experience in customer service, employee engagement, onboarding, or employee relations.

  • Experience in project coordination or management.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).

  • Experience in event planning and coordination.

  • Experience with tools such as MS Forms, Confluence, and SharePoint.

  • Strong business communication skills in English (oral and written).

  • Ability to interact effectively with various levels of the organization.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

  • Proactive problem-solving skills and a service-oriented mindset.

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of the life sciences industry.

  • Experience in HR-related fields.

  • Other language skills are an advantage.
