Job Description
Position Overview:
This position is reporting to Finance Director who responsible to conduct financial analysis activities, such as budget variance analysis, capital budgeting, audits, tax, risk management and cash management. This finance professional will play a critical role in providing strategic and operational excellence to make sure the compliance and good practice accounting, reporting and tax operational based on the guideline and regulations. This role has a focus on continuous improvement and process enhancement, working alongside with the local finance team, Regional Finance COE and business stakeholders.
Develop process governance and evaluation of finance operation and analysis. Ensures system controls are in place and determines operation’s consistency with corporate objectives and standards through various verification methods and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Relevant university degree and other financial qualifications, including professional qualification (e.g. Tax Brevet, CPA, etc)
- Knowledge of accounting principles, financial and tax regulations including transfer pricing principles.
- Finance professional experience of more than 10 years with Tax position experience is an advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing people.
- Working proficiency of US GAAP and/or in IFRS
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of SAP, PowerBI, Planning Dashboards, and Office applications.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and generate meaningful insights and recommendations.
