Location: Cluj Napoca, Romania
As a Senior Customer Representative Oncology, you will be responsible for maximizing the promotion and adoption of our oncology product portfolio within your assigned territory. You will engage with healthcare professionals qualified to prescribe or distribute medicines, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, company policies, and internal procedures. Your role will be pivotal in driving both short-term sales results and long-term market development.
Key Responsibilities
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to internal regulations, company standards, and Romanian pharmaceutical laws in all promotional activities.
- Territory Management: Define client groups and plan the number of visits quarterly to optimize coverage. Prepare daily routes and weekly visit plans to ensure efficient territory management.
- Customer Engagement: Actively promote company products and marketing policies to healthcare professionals qualified to prescribe or distribute medicines. Use tailored promotional techniques to maximize product acceptance and patient access.
- Medical Information: Provide accurate, relevant medical information based on individual doctor needs. Collect and report feedback on product usage and market trends.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers to administer marketing materials and samples. Participate in planning and executing promotional events such as congresses, videoconferences, and sponsorships within budget and regulatory guidelines.
- Reporting: Submit bi-weekly activity reports through the internal reporting system. Provide advance notice of major monthly activities to management.
- Strategic Planning: Analyze territorial dynamics and healthcare professional potential to develop and implement effective coverage plans.
Required Skills, Knowledge & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, or a related field. Medical Doctor or Pharmacist degree is an advantage.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in General Practice or pharmaceutical sales, preferably in oncology.
- Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and oncology therapeutic area.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset.
- Proficiency in Romanian and English (both written and spoken).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a collaborative team spirit.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and a sense of responsibility.
- Willingness and ability to travel within the assigned region.
