Specialist Product Analyst - Industrial DataOps/Data Engineer
Overview: We are looking for a motivated and technically proficient Specialist Product Analyst - Industrial DataOps/Data Engineer (Junior Technical Lead/OT Data Engineer) to join our team focused on the Data Enablement Product. This role will involve working with cutting-edge Industry 4.0 technologies and industrial DataOps tools to enhance our data aggregation, management, and contextualization capabilities. The ideal candidate will have a passion for innovation and a desire to contribute to the evolution of operational technology in the manufacturing sector.
Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership:
Assist in the design and implementation of technical solutions that leverage Industry 4.0 technologies to improve shop floor data aggregation and management.
Collaborate with senior architects and product leads to define technical standards and best practices for the product line.

DataOps Implementation:
Support the integration and deployment of industrial DataOps tools, including data modeling, contextualization, and transformation processes.
Work with data governance frameworks to ensure data quality and compliance across various applications.

Technology Utilization:
Utilize platforms such as Ignition, AVEVA PI System, PTC Kepware, and Matrikon to facilitate real-time production visibility and monitoring.
Engage with edge technologies and data brokers to enhance data connectivity and operational efficiency.

Collaboration and Support:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including application support, development, and delivery teams, to ensure seamless integration of technical solutions.
Participate in periodic reviews and lifecycle management activities to assess and improve system performance.

User Training and Documentation:
Assist in the development of user training materials and documentation to promote understanding of new technologies and processes.
Provide support to users and stakeholders in understanding the capabilities of the Data Enablement Product.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in a technical role, preferably in industrial automation, data management, or related fields.
Familiarity with Industry 4.0 concepts and technologies, including IoT, data analytics, and automation.
Knowledge of data engineering principles and experience with data pipeline design and optimization.
Experience with industrial DataOps tools and platforms (e.g., HighByte, Ignition, Aveva PI AF, PTC Kepware, Matrikon).
Exposure or familiarity with MQTT data brokers such as HiveMQ and Ignition is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
