We’re scaling digital B2B capital and fintech products innovating in the intersection of fintech and payments globally and we are looking for a Data Operation Analyst. In this role, you will partner day‑to‑day with the head of Operations, the VP of Product and our Applied Data Scientist to translate business questions into data, test new flows and drive hygiene and accuracy in our diverse databases which are the heart of our innovative platform. In this role you will collaborating across Engineering, Operations, Risk/Compliance, and Finance and will be an integral part of our success.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Maintain the integrity of our data structures across distributed databases
- Work closely with Operations to identify mismatches in our datasets and reconcile data while cross referencing with eternal systems
- Automate and optimize reconciliation processes in areas where our data needs fine tuning
- Identify gaps in data flows and tables and work proactively to fix them
- Hands on work will be a day-to-day requirement while keeping backups and rollbacks to our data
- Make data hygiene your prime objective
- Be the guardian our single source of truth databases
- Work closely with R&D and the product team to optimize dataflows in our system and optimize data handling
Requirements
What Makes You a Great Fit:
- 2+ years of hands-on SQL experience in a data-related role (Data Operations, Analytics, or similar).
- B.Sc or B.A in Economics, Statistics, or Mathematics- must, a university degree is an advantage.
- Proven experience working in production environments
- Strong spreadsheet experience, you care about clean data and dashboards.
- Bias for action, you love finishing things and keeping databases clean and optimized.
- Responsible and self-discipled, understand the implications of working under global and local regularity frameworks and aligning with all legal and regularity guidelines that come with operating in the fintech space
- Fluent in English, both writing and speaking (native speaker is a plus)
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience in the finance sector
- Previous experience in a startup is a BIG plus! Global Company is a plus
- Familiarity with fintech or payments data flows and Understanding of ETL processes or data pipelines.
- Experience with data visualization or BI tools (Qlik, Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
- Basic understanding of lending/payments systems
