We are looking for a Senior Controller to join our Finance team. The Senior Controller position is responsible for overseeing the group closing process and consolidation of financial statements for the company and its subsidiaries. maintenance an adequate system of accounting records, comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles, international financial reporting standard and SEC reporting requirements.
The Senior Controller will report directly to the Director of financial reporting.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing the monthly, quarterly and annual group closing process to ensure accuracy of financial records including account payable team, accruals, billing team, revenue recognition, payroll journal entries, fixed assets and intangible assets reconciliation, Supervise the intercompany reconciliation process.
- Oversee the consolidation process for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS, while conducting financial analysis and provide insights on consolidated financial results to senior management.
- Prepare and review consolidated financial statements and related disclosures for SEC filings, including 6-K and 20F reports
- Work with subsidiaries teams, provide support and guidelines to the local finance team.
- Coordinate with external auditors during the annual audit and quarterly reviews.
- Develop and maintain internal controls over financial reporting to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements Including accounting memorandums and documentation of company’s processes and policies.
- Assist with tax matters, transfer pricing studies and annual tax filings.
- Ad hoc accounting and finance-related projects as needed, including system implementations and process improvements.
Requirements
What Makes You a Great Fit:
- Degree in Accounting and CPA license
- Experience from big 4 - preferred experience from public company or Hi-tech/Fin-tech companies
- ~3-4 years of accounting experience after internship from Big 4.
- Degree in Accounting and CPA license.
- Knowledge of IFRS.
- Knowledge in multinational consolidation reports and business combination.
- Proficiency in financial consolidation software and ERP systems
- Analytical, high motivated
- Excellent English skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
