Security & Communications Team Member - Join a Critical Government Authority in Jerusalem!

Are you an experienced Security & Communications professional looking to make a significant national impact? A crucial and leading government authority in Jerusalem, Israel, is seeking a dedicated Security & Communications Team Member to join its vital operations.

This is a unique opportunity to work hands-on with critical national systems, ensuring their security and continuous operation.

About the Role:

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

• Establishing and operating information security and communication systems.
• Performing monitoring, maintenance, control, and initiating new projects in the field.
• Hands-on installation, operation, and technical support for all information security, communication infrastructure, and communication lines.
• Ensuring the highest levels of system availability and resilience for critical national infrastructure.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of proven experience as a Communications and Information Security Team Member – Mandatory.
• Familiarity with information security systems and solutions (e.g., IPS, NAC, EDR, Firewall), secure browsing, and whitelisting.
• Demonstrated knowledge and hands-on experience with Checkpoint Firewall – Mandatory.
• CCNP certification – an advantage.
• In-depth familiarity and proven experience with security products (e.g., Portnox, McAfee, F5, Checkpoint, Fortinet).
• Experience working with enterprise information security systems (SIEM, SOC).
• Proven knowledge and experience in WAN/LAN communications – Mandatory. Familiarity with HP Aruba products – an advantage.
• Prior background in System Administration, including knowledge in user creation and permission granting (AD, GPO), storage, server maintenance, and familiarity with VMware virtualization environments.
• Willingness to undergo a lengthy government security clearance process.
• Systemic thinking, ability to drive and lead processes, and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Experience working in a team and collaborating with internal and external interfaces.
• This role involves critical and essential systems for the state, requiring on-call availability for faults during nights/weekends/holidays.
• Relevant professional certifications – an advantage.

Important Note for Applicants:

• This position requires a Level 3 government security clearance. Only Israeli citizens who are eligible for and willing to undergo this extensive clearance process will be considered.
• The work is on-site in Jerusalem, requiring full presence at the client site.
