NESS is seeking a GCP Cloud Infrastructure Architect for a government office.

The role includes leading the design, implementation, and management of secure, efficient, and regulatory-compliant cloud solutions. Responsibilities include leading cloud migration processes, ensuring optimal integration with existing systems, maintaining high standards of information security, and optimizing processes through automation and DevOps—while meeting government and budgetary requirements.

Employment Type: Full-time

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields: Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Management (with a specialization in Information Systems), or Information Systems Management.

OR

  • Any other Bachelor’s degree, along with a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Information Systems, or a Master’s degree in Information Technology Management.

OR

  • Practical Engineer/Technician diploma in Computers/Technology, along with at least 100 hours of coursework in Information Systems technologies / Software Engineering / Programming / Systems Analysis / Software Project Management (with at least one course of no less than 100 hours).

OR

  • Graduate of a technological unit in the Israel Defense Forces (e.g., Mamram, Unit 8200, C4I Directorate, or equivalent), with relevant professional experience following appropriate training, subject to approval.

OR

Certification as a Cloud Solutions Architect from one of the providers awarded under the Nimbus project (Google / Amazon).

Experience:

  • Over 4 years of experience as a Cloud Solutions Architect (primarily public cloud).
  • Experience with PaaS and IaaS environments – Required.
  • Experience managing SaaS environments – Required.
  • Experience managing technological teams – Required.
