NESS is looking for a Data Engineer.
The role includes developing data infrastructures, building complex ingestion and processing pipelines, working with large-scale data volumes and diverse data sources, and collaborating closely with data architects, system analysts, BI teams, and business stakeholders.
This is a full-time, hybrid position based in Ra’anana.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Practical Software Engineering – mandatory.
- At least 4 years of experience as a Data Engineer – mandatory.
- Hands-on experience working with GCP in data projects – mandatory.
- Experience working with BigQuery as a Data Warehouse/Lakehouse – mandatory.
- Experience developing Data Pipelines in the cloud (Batch or Streaming) – mandatory.
- Experience working with Cloud Storage for ingesting and managing large-scale data – mandatory.
- Experience developing ELT/ETL processes in a GCP environment – mandatory.
- Experience using cloud-based orchestration tools – mandatory.
- Experience working with IAM and permissions in GCP – mandatory.
- Understanding of Data Lake/Lakehouse architecture in the cloud – mandatory.
- Strong SQL skills, particularly in BigQuery – mandatory.
