Description

Main Mission and Goal of Position

The Project Manager operates within the EMEA Projects Unit, leading multidisciplinary initiatives across multiple countries, ensuring alignment with Netafim’s business and operational strategy.

The Project Manager is responsible for leading EMEA projects from planning through successful implementation, ensuring delivery in line with Netafim’s standards, customer requirements, and profitability goals.

1. Lead project initiation and pre-sale activities up to contract signature.

2. Manage projects from execution through handover according to Netafim methodology.

3. Manage project P&L and ensure financial performance according to business targets.

Major Areas of Responsibility, Main Processes, and Tasks

1. Establish project work programs and maintain management and control routines (schedule, budget, QA, CR, etc.).

2. Lead communication with clients, partners, and subcontractors to ensure alignment and satisfaction.

3. Support pre-sales activities, finalize action plans, convert initiatives into R&R, and build executable work plans.

4. Identify and manage project risks, ensuring mitigation plans are implemented.

5. Build, maintain, and implement best practices within Netafim’s PM community and stakeholders.

6. Ensure compliance with Netafim’s quality, safety, and sustainability standards.

7. Coordinate cross-functional interfaces with Engineering, Procurement, Greenhouse, Finance, and Legal teams.

Requirements

Position Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Industrial) or in Economics / Business Administration.

2. Formal project management education and recognized certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).

3. Minimum 4 years of proven experience in managing multidisciplinary projects.

4. Experience working in a matrix and multicultural environment.

5. High proficiency in computer skills (MS Office, MS Project, or other relevant project management tools).

6. Highly proficient in English (spoken and written).
